Jerry Mudge says the hardest thing any parent can do is bury an offspring, no matter how old the child is. She knows because she's been through the ordeal. Her sons Wayne Jonas, 28, and Leon Jonas Jr., 29, were killed in a car collision in 1990. To honor the memory of her sons, Mudge has spearheaded Our Children's Memorial Walkway Inc, a brick path in Third Ward's Frazier Park.
